About Our Jr. Youth
Our Jr. Youth includes children grades 5-8, who meet each week for Sunday school. Each class they explore biblical topics and reflect upon how God has worked in our history and in our current lives. We use a Mennonite curriculum and explore the role each participant can play in God’s mission in the world. The class emphasizes the talents and abilities of the participants and each Sunday they focus on struggles and joys with an emphasis on coping skills and laughter.
This group also meets outside of the church periodically for both fun, and charitable events. Bonfires, movie nights, or small service projects bring the kids together to bond relationships, and glorify God’s love.
