Community Hospice Bereavement “Tips for Eating Well and Exercising When You’re Grieving the Loss of Someone You Love”

August 18, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

A Grief Class is being offered @ Maple Grove on Thursday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m. in Maple Grove’s Fellowship Hall & Kitchen, presented by
Julie Yoder, RN, BSN, BA with Community Hospice Bereavement:

Tips for Eating Well and Exercising When You’re Grieving the Loss of Someone You Love.
Appetite, sleep, and motivation can be seriously affected by grief and dealing with the loss of a loved one. Cooking for one may seem futile and ridiculous. Perhaps the person who died was the “cook” of the home and you wouldn’t know how to crack an egg, let alone want to. Paying attention to these areas of our lives can be even more important at times of loss. Come together to share ideas and find encouragement to:
• Improve your eating and meal preparation, and find out why that is so important.
• Boost your motivation to get up and move.
• Learn how to get better sleep and feel more rested.
• Learn some basic walking and easy exercise ideas to get started.
Join us and dress comfortably. RSVP to Kelsie at 1-800-947-7284 by Monday, August 15. Space is limited.
